Damaged Kalideres Terminal’s Park Repair Postponed

A park located in Kalideres Terminal, West Jakarta, looks neglected and worrying. Although it has been damaged since Eid ul Fitr homecoming period, the park is still not repaired until now. Dozens of motorcycles are even parked in the park. As a result, the grass is drying up.

The confirmation from UPT tells that the park will be repaired after the terminal revitalization process is finished

Responding on this matter, Head of Kalideres Terminal, Joko Sukarno, explained that the park will be repaired after the terminal is revitalized in mid-next year. For that, his party has filed for proposal to Jakarta Transportation Department Terminal Technical Service Unit (UPT) to repair the park.

“We’ve filed for proposal to repair the park. But, the confirmation from UPT tells that the park will be repaired after the terminal revitalization process is finished. Or else, the park is worried would damage again during the revitalization process is conducted,” he uttered, Wednesday (11/12).

According to Sukarno, the terminal’s revitalization is waiting for the fund being disbursed. After the revitalization is finished, fence will be installed around the park, so people would not park their vehicles in it.

“About the vehicles parked inside the park, it is because the parking space in the terminal is limited. After the terminal is revitalized, parking space will be added,” he stated.
